MEET THE FOUNDER

Coming from a military family, I’m passionate about supporting individuals who selflessly fight for their country. My father was an Air Force Colonel who was enlisted for over 30 years and served in the Vietnam War. My uncle was a Tuskegee Airman who was the pilot that shot down the last manned German aircraft in WW2.

While my family members were supported when they came home from war, that is unique. Many military members lack family, education, resources, and a stable structure that would lead them to be successful. As I heard more and more about our beloved Veterans suffering from mental health and other issues, I felt I had to ve back to those who keep me and my family safe. That is one of the many reasons I founded United States of Camo. Through research, I realized charities focused on Veterans mental health were few and far between and thus I created my own way of giving back.

WHERE IT ALL BEGIN

I always loved camouflage. I always had a camo purse, camo backpack, camo leggings… you name it. Maybe it’s because the military is in my bones. When I got the idea to create streetwear with a purpose, I knew it had to be in camo!

My father, an Air Force Colonel, is a great inspiration for this project and my desire to support Veterans. His style is an inspiration too! My dad always wore a hat and grew up in the generation where all men did. Our United States of Camo trucker hats bring a contemporary twist to the classic men’s hat.

You’ll also find stylish golf wear in our shop, which is a nod to golf’s role as one of the most popular sports on military bases. An avid golfer myself, I also had a desire to provide stylish golf wear options for the modern golfer.
